About Me
Beth Fisher
Art
I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. I grew up in and around a pottery studio, drawing and taking art classes whenever I could. Over the years, my work has taken many forms—always rooted in texture, emotion, and a love for the imperfect.
In my adult life I immersed myself in the vintage world—thrifting, collecting, and eventually opening my own vintage/antique lifestyle shop that blended my passion for art and design. I traveled to high-end markets with curated wares and repurposed jewelry made from discarded and antique items. That work led to a jewelry contract for Anthropologie, with pieces sold in both the U.S. and overseas. I also created art bottles, adorning antique glass with vintage findings and hand-soldered details.
My shop became a creative hub. I taught jewelry making, mosaic, and mixed media workshops until closing it in 2018. From there, I briefly explored silversmithing, selling handcrafted sterling pieces at art fairs.
When the world slowed down during COVID, I found my way to painting—starting with abstract portraits and evolving into expressive birds, figures, and layered, intuitive works. I paint primarily with acrylic and mixed media, drawn to rough edges, quiet emotion, and the stories that live beneath the surface.
Painting is now at the heart of my creative practice-and the path I continue to follow, full-time, into the this next chapter.
My work is for the ones who find beauty in texture, truth in process, and freedom in becoming.
